Building for our Future Campaign Chair Dan DeLawder thanked donors for their incredible philanthropic support and announced that since August 2018 COTC and Ohio State Newark have secured $13.1 million toward their $14.4 million campaign goal. DeLawder invited community members to help complete the campaign by taking advantage of Ariel Corporation’s generous $2 million campaign match, which will allow donors to effectively double their contribution. There are 34 members of the Ohio State Newark peloton, which is captained by Dean/DirectorWilliam L. MacDonald. This year they joined a total of 7,484 riders to raise $15,472,063 to date. Fundraising ends October 4. Founded in 2008, Pelotonia was established with the objective to fund life-saving cancer research. In its ten years, Pelotonia has raised over $199 million for cancer research. Pelotonia is able to direct 100 percent of every dollar raised by its participants to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
